Expressing myself through artwork has always meant one thing: COLOR...and LOTS of it! More is always better! (According to my husband, I am like this about everything). I have had to learn to “dial back” just how many of a fistful of colors is sufficient.
I began in oils but drifted away as issues of toxicity became a concern to me as a mother and teacher. I then began working in watercolors, which I loved – immediate, juicy results. However, my passion for pastels has allowed me to once again grab fistfuls of gorgeous colors and to just go for it!
